Refund Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This policy explains when a payment to Unifyed can be refunded, when it cannot, and how to ask. It sits alongside our Terms of Service — where the two overlap, the Terms govern.

1. What this policy covers

It covers every payment taken for a Unifyed subscription: the paid first week, monthly renewals, and any charge that follows a free trial. Unifyed is a digital service delivered immediately, which is what shapes most of the rules below.

Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of your country. Where a mandatory local rule gives you more than this policy does, that rule applies.

2. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union normally have fourteen (14) days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because access to Unifyed begins the moment your subscription starts, you expressly request immediate performance at checkout and acknowledge that you lose that right once access has begun, under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

If you subscribed but never accessed the service, write to us within fourteen (14) days and we will refund you in full. We check account activity to confirm it.

3. Free trials

A free trial takes no money. Your card is only registered so the subscription can start when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial is over and you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund.

If a charge went through after you had already cancelled, that is our error and we refund it in full. Send us the cancellation confirmation and we will settle it.

4. Paid first week

The paid intro charges $4.99 immediately for seven days of full Pro access. Access opens at once, so this payment is not refundable once it has begun — that is the immediate performance you agreed to at checkout.

Cancelling during those seven days stops the subscription before the first monthly charge at $39.99. The intro amount already paid stays due.

5. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly payments are charged in advance for the period ahead. Cancelling stops future payments and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a period, and an unused period is not refunded either.

You can cancel at any time from Settings then Subscription, or from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect immediately; no further payment is taken.

6. When we refund anyway

Outside the rules above, we refund as a matter of course in the following cases. You do not have to argue for it — tell us what happened and we will check the records.

We may also refund at our discretion in situations these rules do not anticipate. Ask.

  • Charged after a cancellation you had already confirmed

7. How to ask for a refund

Open the request from your account: Settings, then Refund request. Pick the payment, tell us who you are and why, and confirm the points shown. One request per payment. The form covers the ordinary cases. For anything else — a charge you do not recognise, a payment taken twice, a billing mistake on our side, a technical problem, or a subscription you never used — write to contact@unifyed.ai from your account address, and we will handle it there.

We answer within five (5) business days. If we need something from you — a date, a screenshot — we ask once and keep the request open.

8. How refunds are paid

A refund goes back to the card that was charged, through Stripe. We cannot send it anywhere else, and we cannot refund in cash or credit unless you specifically ask for account credit instead.

Once we issue it, the money usually appears within five (5) to ten (10) business days. That delay belongs to your bank, not to us, and we cannot speed it up.

9. Before you dispute a charge

If something looks wrong, contact us first. A chargeback opened with your bank takes weeks, freezes the account while it runs, and we can almost always settle it faster ourselves.

For each account we keep the signup, consent and access records, and we use them to answer disputes. The refund form in your account records your side of the story just as precisely, and it costs you nothing — it is almost always the faster route.
